This is my debut input on this blog.

Let me introduce myself.

My name is Miriam Weiser. I am a wife, mother and grandmother. A young one, for total transparency. I have been writing for a couple of decades now. My writing has included opinion articles, short fiction, fiction novels and non-fiction full length books.

I consider myself a specialist in writing memoirs, since I have written and published three of them, and written privately a few, as well. To be a specialist you had to have done it more than a couple of times. So, here I am. I surprise myself as well as my clients how the questions I ask bring them back to the time of the story they are telling, and how the memories reawaken after having been in hibernation for many years sometimes. Most people say they don't remember anything from their childhood, or something that has happened to them in the past. But an expert can remedy that and change that perception with the right questions, timed precisely.

It often evokes tears of sorrow, moments of undiluted surprise, or both when the story begins to come out and more than ever imagined is recalled with better clarity than originally expected. And the joy of sharing one's story, knowing full well that others will be inspired, is unbreakable.

Those are the reasons I love writing people's stories.

When the mood gets me, I jot down a short story. Perhaps I will add some of them here. Keep looking for more of my writing. And keep being inspired.
